The 4 Way Test

 

Many Rotarians believe that one way of accomplishing the promotion of high standards of conduct in a trade or profession is to apply the 4-Way Test. This is a simple, four question test of the things we think, say, or do, and can be applied to virtually all areas of life.

 

  1. Is it the Truth?

  2. Is it Fair to All Concerned?

  3. Will it Build Goodwill and Better Friendships?

  4. Will it be Beneficial to All Concerned?
