Thank you for your comments and suggestions re: Wakefield Rotary's Web Site.

We think your idea re: exchanging banners is a great one and we would be interested in doing this in the future once we complete the construction of other aspects of our Site.

We've made some further progress by linking our Web Site to yours and we have posted your flag on one of our pages as well. Hope you like it.

Since I'm certain that you have unlimited funds to pay member's fines, I was thinking of doing something outrageous like 'streaking' through a meeting to see what kind of fine they'd levy on me... then pull out my fine card! On second thought, I guess I wouldn't have any pockets in which to keep my fine card... so, I'll just play it straight.

You're web site continues to look good. I'd call it a great success.

Can we find a time in the next week or two to get Tri-Town Council's homepage going? I'd like to have an interactive component, like a bulletin board, where I can debate with the Masco kids around certain topics.

I would like to pass an idea by you with regards your clubs tremendous banner page. My name is Darryl McKeller and I am chairman of the recreational fellowship ROTI (Rotarians On The Internet) and I thought that by promoting this type of banner page to clubs we could form a Rotary Friendship Circle, and clubs wishing to join could have links the same as you have done to other clubs who maintain banner pages as well. We could expand upon the idea by toasting clubs with whom we swap banners.
I put the idea to the members of ROTI about the Circle of Friendship and it has met with a great deal of enthusiasm.
I would welcome your constructive input as you have being doing this a lot longer and would have some suggestions.
I look forward to your comments.

Remember to have a Great Rotary Day.

Just finished a thorough surfing of your Rotary site, and all I can say is WOW! Great job. You can be very proud of the work you have done and are continuing to do here.

Do your club members access the site regularly? As a per centage, how many have internet access?
I ask because our club has the opportunity to do more with the internet, but there doesn't seem to be a tremendous interest from most of the members. I would hate to invest the time for my own enjoyment.

Thanks for all the hard work. Looking forward to your reply.

found the greeting you sent to Peter Sypkes back in August, while I was cleaning out (sorry - reorganising) my Secretary briefcase, and thought I would drop you a line.
Great idea of linking the clubs to your site via the banners!!

We are basking in glorious warm weather over here - but I think there will be some rain as a result later today. I guess you are getting cooler and bracing yourselves for the coming winter months.
Our Club is ticking along nicely with the main Community Service project still the work done by the Youth Worker the Club employs through the local Police Citizens Youth Club among the Street Kids and Homeless Youth of Hobart (more details are included in our web site). We also have given money recently to R.I. President Glen Kinross' international project - the Paul Harris Village in India. Our Club gave enough to fund 3 shelters out of our District 9830's total of about 30 shelters.

Keep up the good work.
