Think about who you can approach for sponsorship. This is one of our biggest fund raisers lets all make the day a great success! Gilly once again will be helping out this year saving the Club some much needed dollars.

  • Keith Harris is at Mass General dealing with an infection that has affected his heart. Christina is keeping us all informed as to his progress. Thoughts and prayers go out for them.

  • The Ipswich Country Club will hold an outing for all fund raisers who made use of their facility. See President Todd for details if you're interested in playing.

  • District Governor Julia Phellps will be visiting in two weeks. Let's show her that we are on the Rotary Shares team.

Program:

This weeks speaker was Steve Laverty the CEO of Northeast Health Care Systems which encompasses Beverly Hospital, The Hunt Center and Addison Gilbert. Steve spoke to us about the Hunt Cent being moved to the old Danvers State Site off 62. The facility will open up an easy access to healthcare to many north shore residents. NEHCS employees over 4000 people currently so it's pretty likely you know someone that works there.

NSHCS takes great pride in itself because of the diversity of healthcare which it offers. They have a remarkable spectrum of healthcare services all under one umbrella. Stay tuned for announcements regarding the grand opening of their new facility in Danvers. For more info on the Medical and Day Surgery Center check out www.nhshealth.org.
