Rotarians O'er the World, You Lead the Way!
Commissioned to commemorate the visit of Donna Jean Wayman, Rotary International District Governor, District 7930, to the Topsfield, Boxford and Middleton Rotary Club, Massachusetts, USA, on September 6, 2006.

President John rang the bell at 12:15 MST and Joe Carroll asked that we listen to tonight's speech and be fair in what you think.
Visiting Rotarians and Guests:
Rev. Ken Steigler from the Salem Club joined us today. Today's speaker was Michael Stare.
Make Ups:
There were no make up cards today.
If you missed today's meeting, you have until January 24, 2007 to complete a makeup.
Fines and Happy Dollars:
Jeff Kruck took Spencer for a spin and played the Sergeant at Arms.
Today's special surprise was the pedaling of additional raffle tickets offered up by President John.
- Bob Courtlangus was confident that he'd win.
- Janet Larson was happy for selling 6 tickets so far for the comedy night.
- Peter McAllister let out a "Happy, happy, joy, joy"
- Linda Parker was happy to be heading off to Maine to spoil her grand child.
- Joanne Travers was happy for spending the weekend teaching 5 Dominicans how to ski. They'd never seen snow before, welcome to New England, you ain't seen nothing yet.
- Harry Martin was happy for the blood drive. Reminder, $2 (per week) id's the bare minimum to get onto the Sustaining Member list.
- Ira Singer was happy that Joanne Travers may have played an integral role in the devolvement of the Dominican Ski Team for the winter Olympics.
- Todd Darling was happy for the Pentucket Regional High Schools wrestling team who are off to their best year under the watchful eyes of the coaching staff of which he is a part.
- Al Craig was happy but was nearly attacked for getting change.
- Oscar Padjen was happy for the gators win.
- Bernie Creedon was happy for the latest meeting of the k-12 umbrella at which over 500 were in attendance. Author of "Raising Cain" Michael Thompson spoke to the attendees.
- Bob Murphy had some happy dollars too but I could hear why he was giggling so much Barbara became concerned.
- Bob Was told of his happy year at two of his kids were married and number three isn't far behind.
Raffle:
The Queen of Hearts lost her peer the Queen of Diamonds this week. No lucky winners today even with the added sales and the pot was safe until next week. FYI the total is $390 and there are 12 cards to go.
Announcements
President John had few announcements.
- John Plate urges all to get out and sell tickets for comedy night.
- Todd Darling read a thank you from Beverly Grimes of 4 mile village. She received one of the poinsettias that we distributed through the COA.
- Comedy night February 8, 2007.
January 16, 18 and 20 we are sponsoring a blood donation drive at the North Shore Red Cross Donor Center, 99 Rosewood Drive, Danvers (the old registry of motor vehicles). Call 800 448-3543.

Comedy Night
- Comedy Night is approaching, February 8, 2007, 7-10 here at Angelica's. Paul Gilligan has come through once again and offered to help us out. Thank you Joanne for arranging the evening. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Call Joe Long 978 360-2793 for tickets. They make great Christmas gifts.

Program:
Today's speaker was Michael Stare a Physical Therapist/Personal Trainer who's office is at the Beverly Cummings Center.
His message was simple. Exercise. No excuses. Do something within your abilities.
Michael works with many people who have had hip and knee replacement surgeries, kids suffering from sports related injuries and those who want to do something about their physical well being.
