The clinic is put to work Mar 2, 2005
It still needs to be finished, but the walls are up, the rooms are partitioned and the roof is on. This allowed us to begin seeing patients.

Harry Martin posted a Rotarical question in last week's bulletin.
Who is that guy? The member, who should know, doesn't and will be fined accordingly and incrementally as time marches on. President Peter put it this way "The longer you wait my Rotarian friend the more you owe Spencer"...stay tuned.
The tree at the right carries his name.
If you think you know the answer, send an e-mail to Harry who will verify it for you.
The Middelton Kiwanis Club is hosting their 12th annual charity auction June 2 at the Ferncroft. A table of ten is $300. It would be great to get a Rotary group to go and show support and probably have fun at the same time.
Peter McAllister reminds all that the 8th annual golf tournament is approaching. June 12th we will be teeing off at the Ipswich Country Club. Spread the word. Sponsor and golfer forms can be downloaded from the RotaryTBM web site. Email your address book. Joe Long did this last year and 2 foursomes came of the effort. print a few out and encourage a friend or business partner to participate. We're in need of auction items, sort tickets, golf items etc. Other rotary clubs that send foursomes will receive a donation in their name to The RI Foundation from our club. E-mail your mailbox and make an appeal to all your friends, co workers and family members. The Club needs everyone's help to make this year tourney the best ever.

Don Doliber spoke this week. Don is a relatively new staff member over at Masco, started just 38 years ago. His wife is a Rotarian in Marblehead. She asked him are you speaking this week at the TBM Club. He said yes and she asked to come and see. Don said "No".
His dad used to let the minister know how he was doing for time on the weekly sermon. A simple tap of the watch would say enough. The longer the minister went on the more aggressive the tapping would become.
Memorial Day is coming up. Don encourages all to participate. Take a moment to reflect on what these brave men and women did, the ultimate sacrifice, to protect our rights.
Don told us of a Sidney A. Benson, whom he never knew. Nor did he know any of the mans family. A friend from Pennsylvania had emailed Don and asked that he look into the life of the man who was killed in Germany during the Second World War. Mrs. Boykowski, a friend of Don's friend had a son who flew with Sidney and they were killed together in service. She had taken her son's insurance money and commission a memorial to the 10 men to be placed at a local elementary school. Sidney A. Benson was a co-pilot in a B-24 and was from Marblehead. Don was intrigued being a genealogy buff.
Don compiled all the information he could gather and wrote an article that was published in the local paper that celebrated the life and sacrifice of 2nd Lieutenant Sidney A. Benson.
Take a look yourselves at just one life that was given for this country. Pause, remember, and reflect. Thank a veteran for all they did.
