President Linda brought the meeting to order and Joe Carroll gave the blessing.

Fines and Happy Dollars:

John Plate broke out a new attention getter as he started the weekly levy of fines.

  • Bob Murphy was happy, not with the skiing, and told a story about his trip to Whistler in Vancouver B.C.

  • Todd Darling thanked Joanne Travers for her tireless efforts in making the Comedy Night a success. Thank you Chris Kourkoulos for making the night a success too!

  • Mark Luique is happy that his folks are flying him and his bride away from the cold Northeast to visit them in Florida.

  • President Elect Peter proudly told of his son's success in a recent hockey tournament in which Kevin shined as he led his team to the Championship. Oh yeah, Kevin was named Tourney MVP as well. Congratulations Dad!!

  • Joe Carroll was happy to be here. Bob Was said Thank you.

  • Bob Luscinski is happy tax season is over and ponied up for his tardiness.

 

Raffle:

Gretchen Marks and Chris Kourkoulos both did not turn over the 8 of clubs.

 

Announcements

  • Todd Darling met with 3 students at Masco and one more who is returning from France wants to meet him as well for the up coming RYLA weekend. As a Club we have at least 4 students attending and may have as many as 7.

  • Sponsors and Golfers are needed for the Golf Tournament on May 26 at the Ferncroft. Please help and make this year the most successful ever. Watch this coming weeks edition of the Village Reporter, as we will have a flier announcing the event complete with registration forms attached. We will be in 10,000 copies of the paper as it is mailed to every household the three towns.

  • The GSE team will be in from Milan Italy and they are in search of things to do. A musician, an Aerospace Engineer, a Telecommunications/Software expert and a Banker will all be in to visit us on May 4th.

  • Comedy Night predictions are that we raised approximately $2,400.00.

  • The BOD has voted to add another scholarship of $500.00 for the North Shore Technical High School.
