Four tables were filled with TBM members and guests. President Elect Peter rang the bell at 12:15 and Joe Carroll said the blessing.

Visiting Rotarians and Guests:

Visitors were many for our Christmas season celebration.

  • Rotarians Jim Norris of Danvers and Nick Helides of Salem joined us today.
  • Marilyn Burnett and Carol Reid joined Gretchen Marks.
  • Oscar invited past TBM member Fred Hurd.
  • Jim Fitzgerald's better half Nancy put up with him during lunch.
  • It was great to see Mats and Anita Viggh.
  • Al Craig brought fellow Topsfield Fair co-worker Ann Costanza.
  • Carol joined John Plate.
  • Dave Bunker's dad Jim was in attendance.
  • Bill Shannon had a family party. Joining him was his wife, Debbie, sister-in-law Diane Graglia, Daughter Michele Kelley, and granddaughters Shaelyn and Hannah. The expressions and reactions the girls had when the Masco Chorale started to sing was priceless.
  • To all the visitors and guests thank you for sharing your day with us.

Make Ups:

There were no makeup cards this week.

Fines and Happy Dollars:

Only Happy Dollars flowed today.

  • Gary and Jan were late in attended our meeting and instead they attended a funeral upstairs before the realized that everyone was dressed in black.

  • Harry had his $2, we're nearly 100% for the year.

  • Jan was happy because her boss gave her the week off;

  • Gretchen applauded Eden's efforts with the Toys for Tots.

  • Eden was happy because his waiting room was filled to the ceiling with toys.

  • Joanne was happy to be back for the Dominican and she attended a Rotary meeting at which she got to practice up her Spanish skills by giving a quick classification talk.

  • Mats was happy as his house is finally under agreement.

  • Peter's bride Maureen scared the living you know what out of the horse with Christmas bells. No caroling for Pokey this year.

  • Bob Luscinski wished everyone a merry Christmas.

Raffle:

Carol Plate and Joanne Travers were unable to find the king of Hearts.
